The Senior Marketing and Communications Associate will develop, execute and monitor strategic marketing and communications plans for Industry and Group Practices that result in increased brand awareness, brand equity, value (ROI) and non-dues revenue for the Society. Under the supervision of the Director, this individual monitors campaign metrics and other available data to ensure campaigns are successful and adjusts as necessary to ensure revenue goals are met. This role is responsible for feeding a continues pipeline of leads for the sales team.
Develops, executes and monitors strategic marketing and communications plans. Proactively offers recommendations and creative ways to accomplish business objectives – outside the box thinking.
Identifies needs and oversee development of content for new marketing collateral e.g., direct mail, brochures, web content, emails, articles, etc. Ensure all deliverables are on times and within budget.
Assists with development of marketing materials ensuring they comply with the ASA Style Guide, AP Style, align with messaging and reflect ASA brand standards.
Conducts environmental scans, research and leverage available data to assist with plan development.
Provides weekly updates to ensure monthly revenue goals are met and marketing mix is resulting in strong leads in the pipeline and sales.
Identifies and monitor key performance indicators for marketing campaigns. Glean actionable insights from the data.
Stays current on innovative marketing trends in traditional and digital marketing that can be incorporated into ASA campaigns to help marketing effectiveness and revenue.

Master’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing role. Experience with digital marketing campaigns a plus.
Association experience preferred.
Experience working with sales team a plus.
Computer proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Verbal and written communication styles are clear, descriptive and direct.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing quality, error-free work.
Ability to plan out a project, determine requirements, set achievable and realistic deadlines, mange expectations, manage change and deliver results.
Strong service and quality orientation to clients, colleagues and members.
Ability to handle multiple projects at various stages is essential.
Telecommuting is allowed.
