The American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) is currently searching for a Project Manager. If you answered yes to the questions above, this may be the position for you!
Project Manager oversees overall project management for assigned projects, including schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables. The role will partner with the COO to maintain knowledge of larger AADE strategy and goals, without neglecting the granular details of projects, tracking project health, or staying alert for risk and resolving issues as they arise.
Develop, manage and lead all assigned projects to include: project plans, individual project deliverables, clarity regarding expectations of all stakeholders, management of all project relationships and project teams. Will communicate and manage tasks and activities according to a schedule with the team and provide feedback to team members as appropriate.
Effectively manage project efforts, to include: project plan, scope/budget/resource management, time management (activities & task planning), communications, and required reporting.
Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written form (clear and concise requirements and project plan specifications).
Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project tasks, activity, documentation, and timeline information per internal standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
3-5 years of previous project management experience required, preferably in an educational, IT, marketing, association, or not-for-profit environment.
Healthcare industry experience a plus.
Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent a plus.
