Summary: The International Sign Association (ISA), recognized by the Council of Manufacturing Associations as a “Best Place to Work” in 2018, is seeking a creative and energetic individual to create, implement and execute the organization’s business development efforts. This exciting new position will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key industry segments to design relevant value-added programs and services. Must be able to identify, analyze and prioritize potential revenue and benefit opportunities and work collaboratively with stakeholders and staff teams.

By embracing ISA’s “culture code,” this individual has taken risks, developed strong relationships with all stakeholders, and has initiated short- and long-term strategies to grow association revenue.
This individual will have developed a keen sense of industry needs and has connected those needs to potential relevant solutions.
Through displaying strong communication skills, this individual has consistently demonstrated a passion for the industry, is identified as an ISA ambassador, and is recognized as having a strong customer service ethic.
This individual is viewed as an excellent listener, responsive to industry concerns, demonstrating flexibility, and a go-to person for ideas.
Through consistent interaction with members and prospects, gathers data and personal insights on ways to increase member satisfaction, engagement and retention.
Develops member cultivation, retention and acquisition plans for ISA and ISA affiliates.
Works with Industry Relations Coordinator to execute member and partner cultivation, retention and acquisition plans.
Develops and leverages relationships with influencers and partners.
Develops and executes recruitment and retention campaigns for key target markets/segments.
Analyzes industry needs makes recommendations for new and improved programs and services.
Manages and develops budgets for membership retention and acquisition, and business development programs.
Works closely with marketing and communications team to identify and develop communication opportunities to add value for members, prospects partners, affiliates, prospective members/partners.
Represents ISA at industry events and achieves goals for industry interaction activities.
Researches industry trade shows, events, publications and directories to keep up to date on changing trends and new products and communicates new ideas to stakeholders.
Provides management with monthly progress reports as required.

Ability to travel frequently, including for multiple days and some weekends – approximately 30-40 percent.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of or experience with Salesforce preferred.
