Provides support for the organization’s operational infrastructure, manages administrative office operations and assists departments with special projects as needed (This position is classified as non-exempt).

Manage the day-to-day administrative office operations and reception area such as: greeting visitors; distributing mail; ordering supplies and maintaining inventory; managing deliveries and facilities problems; maintaining common area copiers; fulfilling information requests; coordinating interviews for prospective employees; assisting with accounting functions such as depositing checks and maintaining A/P files; and planning office events
Maintain the association’s member database to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date
Assist members in accessing association resources and services
Serve as the focal point for internal scheduling activities
Answer phones and respond to inquiries about PACE from interested consumers, NPA members, etc.
Assist departments with administrative support and requests in finalizing tasks, such as mailings, surveys and reports, as requested
Assist Education Department with Annual Conference, Spring Policy Forum and Summer Conferences with assigned tasks, such as reconciling registration issues and arranging shipments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
General office management and protocol
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Skilled in Microsoft Office products and association database software (iMIS), with an interest in learning and applying new technology solutions
Small, fast paced team office environment with moderate noise levels. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars. Requires general mobility to move through the facility. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel locally and to other cities for meetings and conferences.
