International Market and Communication Development Specialist
Full Time Position
AHIMA World Congress (AWC), the international arm of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) has an excellent opportunity for an International Market and Communication Development Specialist.
This International Market and Communication Development Specialist position will serve as support and management for the AWC team While having their own areas of responsibility and leadership, this position will contribute to the overall success and growth of AWC among the international community
The International Market and Communication Development Specialist is an integral part of the AWC international business development and sales process, customer support, and coordination among AWC trainers and other team members to deliver exceptional client service for AWC customers training programs and services.
The Specialist will play a key role in cultivating and managing communication with the AWC Chapters, members, and clients in various countries, scaling and leveraging existing Chapters and develop new Chapters to grow, influence and scale AWC opportunities.
The International Market and Communication Development Specialist leads AWC marketing communication channels, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google), email, articles, blogs, webinars, and the AWC website, among other marketing tactics.
As a part of the AWC team, the position will support limited but various administrative and logistical tasks as needed.
The International Market and Communication Development Specialist is responsible for:
Developing and managing AWC lead generation and sales support and communication.
Providing customer support and service for AWC
Leading the coordination of marketing collateral, including the creation of content.
Coordinating all accounting and customer billing aspects of AWC
Working with Marketing Director and Consultant for updates to AWC websites
Coordinating inside international business and market activities, including lead management, email request management, e-alerts, customer emails.
Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
Assisting in development of sales presentations and contracts
Assisting in the coordination of management responses and external requests for information (RFI).
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Media, HIM or related field
3 to 5 years of experience
Healthcare industry experience a plus
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to effectively manage resources and prioritize projects
Demonstrated group leadership and facilitation skills as well as project management skills.
The ability to research topics thoroughly, assimilate information correctly, and communicate effectively in writing.
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and highly detail oriented
Telecommuting is allowed.
