The Indiana Apartment Association in its expansion of member education offerings is adding a Professional Development Manger position. The Indiana Apartment Association (IAA) is a statewide trade association that represents the growing multifamily housing industry in Indiana.
This individual develops and implements IAA’s professional development programs and manages all related components.
Identify and implement topics, speakers, venues, and related elements for IAA professional development programs statewide
Develop annual professional development calendar
Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) process as needed
Coordinate course descriptions, learning objectives, speaker biographies, and related information for each course
Implement certification training programs and coordinate member certification details
Review and maintain course evaluations
Track the success and overall performance of all professional development activities
Maintain a library of education speakers and presentations
Develop and maintain an operating budget for professional development programs statewide
Support and manage related committee(s)/council(s)
Association management experience
Experience working with volunteers and committees
Proven professional development skills
The ability to meet deadlines and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
