This position interfaces with trustee and hospital executives on a daily basis via phone and email to build member engagement in THT resources and programs. This role coordinates THT member education programs and publications, member outreach and coordinates meetings for the THT board as well as member hospital workshops and programs.
Coordinates THT online education and member engagement programs in conjunction with internal and external stakeholder groups including, but not limited to, THT webinars, onsite member hospital workshops & meetings and membership dues outreach projects. Experience with content development and identifying subject matter experts for a specific audience in collaboration with other teams is required.
Administers THT Trustee Certification program, Online Board Self Assessment and THT Awards program interacting with members via phone and email and building relationships with key influencers.
Acts as THT’s internal hub for managing communication programs designed to keep internal and external parties informed of THT’s programs and services including writing, production and distribution coordination through a variety of platforms – website, printed materials, electronic communication and social media.
Coordinates activities and meetings with THT Board, Committees and hospital members to include; attending meetings when required; providing on-site assistance and arranging catering and logistics; coordinating and preparing materials and post event invoices and follow-up actions for approval.
Experience & Skills, Required and Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or knowledge required is normally equivalent to the attainment of or equivalence of 5-7 years’ work experience with associations or other non-profit entities highly preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal such as writing marketing copy, correspondence letters, short articles and externally facing communications
Must demonstrate effective use of project planning, project management, communication, public relations, leadership, organizational and people skills.
Working knowledge in meeting planning and negotiating contracts within the hospitality industry preferred.
Excellent demonstrated application knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Office Professional Suite and working knowledge of graphic design principles.
Experience with CRM or AMS Software/Management Systems is preferred.
Ability to travel 20% of the time with occasional overnight stays.
