As the Marketing Coordinator, you will work directly with the Marketing Manager to assist in the promotion of TRSA’s professional development programs to its members. This will include the creation of brochures, postcards and email templates, in addition to electronic and direct mail marketing of certification and online learning programs.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, creative and enthusiastic individual who is extremely organized and enjoys working collaboratively. This is a paid internship which will allow the intern to work no more than 20 hours per week.
TRSA also considers candidates who are looking to re-enter the workforce or change careers. This may include those who have previously graduated college or are now enrolled in a continuing education program.
Support the marketing of TRSA’s non-dues programs, such as professional development, certifications and educational resources
Assist with brainstorming, research, planning, and creation of communications initiatives
Contribute to a range of internal and external communications projects including presentations, research and data collection, and web content
Assist with creation and updating of marketing materials
Perform other duties as assigned
Marketing major or minor
Willingness to learn and think outside the box
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to collaborate with others on projects and assignments to achieve optimal results
Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills required
Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Adobe Products (Acrobat DC and Photoshop) or similar, good computer skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Predictable and punctual attendance; ours assigned will be between 9 am and 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday
