PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• AUGS Registries
• Support AUGS leadership, volunteers, consultants, vendors and participating sites in the design, development, maintenance and expansion of condition-specific quality improvement registry modules
• Demo, on-board, and train potential users/sites interested in participating in an AUGS clinical registry or quality improvement initiative
• Maintain all registry-related participation documents and agreements
• Oversee internal data management activities, database setup, and data quality control checks, and generate standard and custom reports for internal and external use
• Ensure ongoing communication with sponsors and sites
• Assist with the development of marketing collateral and programmatic educational and informational materials
  
  

• Physician Reimbursement
  • Track and research regulatory and payment issues affecting AUGS members and work with/support AUGS’ various committees and health policy consultant on technical issues, special projects, and responses to Federal regulations on physician payment and the Quality Payment Program
  • Assist with the development and implementation of an alternative payment model for the subspecialty
  • Serve as the staff liaison to the Coding and Reimbursement Committee and the Payment Reform Committee
  • Communicate and manage coding questions and reimbursement changes to the membership.
    
    

• Research Networks and Committees (Junior Faculty Network, Fellows Research Network, Scientific Committee)
• Work closely with project principle investigators (PI), steering committees, corporate sponsors, and network participants to ensure the successful, timely, and on budget completion of network projects
• Establish a very thorough understanding of all projects, with the ability to communicate the purpose, status and goals to others
• Manage project budgets and participation agreements
  
  

• Manage the Pelvic Floor Disorders Research Foundation’s Grant Programs
• Oversee the research grants program to include promoting the program, setting up the grant portal, coordinating the review process, as well as managing the grant contracts, reports and payments
• Track researchers, identify connections, seek success stories, look for communications pieces to demonstrate the foundation’s impact

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Senior Director, Research and Quality as needed  
• Develop internal SOPs and maintain tracking tools to monitor various timelines, budgets, training and enrollment in AUGS Research programs
• Maintain oversight of project budgets
