JOB SUMMARY                                                                                             

The Front-End Web Designer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of digital content for the MDRT websites, emails, social media, and video channels. This role works closely with the marketing department and department leads to solidify design direction and effectively translate business goals and requirements into compelling visual solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A. Build web applications and sites with modern client side technologies.

B. Produce flexible and creative HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.

C. Review and ensure that code follows design quality, is cross browser friendly, and passes testing.

D. Collaborate with multiple teams and vendors to post and maintain content.

E. Review online collateral for accuracy and adherence to style guide.

F. Manage digital library (videos, audios, PDFs, etc.)

G. Assist registered users with security and navigation issues of the website.

H. Troubleshoot issues as they arise.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Front-End Web Designer
  • Experience working with backend web developers. 
  • Ability to write consistent, standards-compliant HTML5, CSS, JS
  • WordPress knowledge a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience working within a team environment where design and production are a collaborative effort
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with team members and clients
  • Positive attitude and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
