The National Association of Counties (NACo), a prominent non-profit association in Washington, D.C., is the only organization that supports our nations’ counties’ elected officials through policy and advocacy work. NACo announces an opening for a Project Manager. The focus of the project manager position is to help counties and public agencies collect delinquencies through tax-refund intercept programs across the country in collaboration with state associations of counties and state financial authorities.
This program is newly created. We are in the process of rolling it out to counties that have opted in and we are actively selling it to counties that are not yet participating. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and have experience in either County, City or State government or Hi-Tech account management and sales. Our ideal candidate would have knowledge of government needs and how it works and experience with full-service account management.
If you enjoy wearing lots of hats, juggling varied tasks from sales and marketing, to account management, to contract review and verification, to administrative duties this could be a great opportunity for you. If you have a passion for full-service account management from initial contact to roll out and implementation to account support, look no more. If you have County, City or State government experience in the fields of finance, tax or revenue – we want to talk to you!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to: Program Director, Revenue Recovery, Financial Services Corporation
Application Procedure: Persons interested in this position should submit a CV and cover letter with salary requirements to: resumes@naco.org.
