Our chief staff officer is responsible for all administrative level executive management aspects of our membership based non-profit organization including services, support, and business operations. RESPONSIBILITIES • Advocate our mission to a broader national audience to ensure financial, partner, and community support, in addition to supporting a dynamic group of leaders who invest their time in the day-to-day operations of the organization • Possess strong, formal leadership and fundraising experience; including board of directors and staff interface experience • Increase brand awareness and actively promote, develop strategies, and build our membership base • Managing day-to-day operations of our National Headquarters • Execution of the policy, procedures and regulations of the Corporation • Supervision over funds, securities and financial accounts • Oversee and maintain the fiscal operations with the prescribed budget adopted annually by our Board of Directors, including direct supervision of all corporate personnel in the hiring and termination process within budgetary constraints • Develop—with board approval—appropriate personnel policies which conform to all applicable federal and state employment laws and implement • To advise and support the President regularly on the state of the corporation, concerns and opportunities • To conduct administrative duties while being receptive to support the executive board of directors • Provide continuity in supporting the development and execution of long-range planning (5-year strategic plan) |
