The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA) is a non-profit association serving more than 16,000 emergency medicine physicians in training and is managed by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
We need a dedicated professional to manage our representative council meetings, our exhibit programs and multiple projects and events. Additionally, all staff assist the EMRA Executive Director and other staff in EMRA management – including supporting EMRA committees, events, and initiatives.
Five or more years related work experience including project management, fundraising/sales, volunteer management, special events, nonprofit or association management, proofreading and editing; work with content management systems, communicating effectively with a high level of accuracy, monitoring and tracking budgets
Experience with Microsoft Office software (in a Windows environment)
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong project management experience
Some travel required. Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends
Ability to travel as required. Anticipate 3 business trips per year from 2-8 days’ duration
