IEC of the Bluegrass Executive Director

The IEC of the Bluegrass is seeking a self-motivated and ambitious individual to fulfill the duties of a full time Executive Director. Duties include the daily management and oversight of association activities including but not limited to; apprenticeship compliance with state and federal regulations, oversight of contractor and journeyman continuing education program, budget preparation, detailed record keeping, presentations, report generation, supervision of a full-time staff employees, workforce development initiatives, event planning and maintaining a close working relationship with various committees, government agencies and individual employers. The Executive Director reports to the IEC of the Bluegrass Board of Directors.

Qualified candidates should possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, a good working knowledge of MS computer applications and attention to detail. Specific knowledge of the electrical industry and/or apprenticeship is welcomed but not required.

This is a salaried/exempt position and work hours may exceed 40 hrs./wk. A competitive salary will be offered based on knowledge and experience.
