As the champion for feeding families and enriching lives, FMI works to support the food industry by advocating for a safer, heathier, and more efficient consumer food supply.

 

The Manager, Member Services will:

  • Coordinate and assist with all FMI share group activities to include scheduling, handling communications, and coordinating meeting logistics for nine share groups and 18 sub-group meetings;
  • Maintain accurate contact information for members and prospects in FMI’s MatrixMaxx database and ensure 100% accuracy of data;
  • Assist with managing and updating the Member Services web pages; and,
  • Provide general administrative support to the Chief Member Relations Officer & Senior Vice President, Membership & Education, and the Member Services team

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A minimum of three to five years of prior professional work experience working in a similar role;
  • Meeting facilitation skills (required);
  • An ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with strict attention to detail;
  • Strong computer literacy with a firm understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Clear understanding and use of database software to process and maintain information;
  • Strong customer service skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure; and,
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills and team orientation.
