Membership and Community Administrator
EMDR International Association
The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) seeks a Membership and Online Community Administrator. This is a new position as the EMDRIA staff is growing.
EMDRIA is an association of 10,000 mental health professionals who specialize in trauma treatment. The Administrator would be responsible for member recruitment and retention processes including email marketing to prospective members, sending renewal notices and invoicing membership dues, setting up and managing group memberships, and conducting onboarding campaigns for new members.
The Administrator would work with other staff to respond to member inquiries and to inform members of the services and benefits of membership. The Administrator would be expected to produce reports on all aspects of membership and recommend and implement strategies for improvement, interacting with members and staff to ensure success. This position reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing.
Additionally, the Administrator will be the community manager for EMDRIA’s online member communities, which includes monitoring and moderating communities, providing member support, reviewing analytics, and recommending strategies to improve engagement and member experience.
Because EMDRIA is a distributed workforce the position will be located where the successful applicant resides. The core team is in Austin, Texas, and as conditions allow, staff will meet periodically in person through the year for planning and retreat sessions, so some travel will be required.
EMDRIA has a collaborative, team-based culture. However, to be successful in a distributed workforce one must be able to work independently to meet objectives, deadlines, and expected quality. The successful applicant must have and be able to maintain a safe and appropriate workspace environment. Employees should be willing to commit to and support EMDRIA’s standards and policies regarding diversity and racial equity.
Please submit a cover letter and resume outlining your qualifications and interest in the position to exec@emdria.org.
