About Character.org: Our mission is to serve as the national and global advocate and voice for character. We are widely-known for our 11 Principles Framework for Schools: A Guide to Cultivating a Culture of Character. More recently, Character.org has expanded its mission to provide character-focused resources to parents and families, sports and after-school organizations, policymakers, and workplace leaders.
Position Summary: Character.org seeks a dynamic, creative, and purpose-driven individual to be its Director of Communications, a leadership position with a direct reporting relationship to the President. The Director will oversee the organization’s existing communications platforms and develop new strategic approaches to increase our visibility and stature.
