Job Title: Senior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner and Talent Director
Reports to: Chief Human Resource Officer and Vice President
Job Summary: The Senior HR Business Partner and Talent Director position is responsible for aligning business priorities with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business goals of the organization.
Provide professional guidance and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
Oversee full life cycle recruitment of full-time, part-time, temporary, and contractual and intern hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop relationships to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Develop and oversee an internal strategic plan for communications at ASHP. Regularly, write and edit internal communications.
Conducts regular meetings with respective department heads.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations if necessary.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience resolving complex human resource issues including performance management, employee relations, internal HR communications and recruitment.
