The Membership Coordinator is a primary point of contact for members. Effective customer service and follow up is essential because of the services provided and how this reflects on new and existing members’ perception of ASNR and the specialty and regional societies.
The Membership Coordinator processes membership applications and dues renewal for ASNR and the managed specialty and regional societies.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Works with Membership & Database Manager to increase membership retention through excellent customer service, improving the member experience, and ensuring the integrity of the member data.
Provides customer/member service and processes membership applications and dues renewals for:
American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR)
American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR)
American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR)
American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR)
Eastern Neuroradiological Society (ENRS)
Southeastern Neuroradiological Society (SENRS)
Western Neuroradiological Society (WNRS)
World Federation of Neuroradiological Societies (WFNRS)
This position includes potential travel to the ASNR Annual Meeting (5-7 days) per year to assist with on-site meeting registration.
Process all ASNR and specialty/regional and international society member applications. Review applications for requirements and appropriate membership category
Assist with the processing of all membership renewals
Accurately manage records in member database (MS Dynamics 365), including contact updates, managing and refunding payments, merging duplicates, running reports, and more
Assist in keeping data entry uniform
Answer calls and emails pertaining to membership
Assist members of societies, that maintain separate website login systems, with obtaining their login credentials
Produce and distribute reports from membership database pertaining to the specialty/regional and international societies for leadership and vendor partners, as needed
Run weekly member reports for AJNR journal and email to key AJNR subscription contact
Other duties as assigned
Ability to effectively communicate verbally with members, staff and/or potential members over the phone, in person, and/or via email

Maintain a calm demeanor and problem-solve creatively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn and navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
Strong MS Word, Outlook, Excel background, exposure to MS Teams desirable
Experience with web based AMS or CRM membership database systems strongly preferred, prior experience with Altai or MS Dynamics 365 environment a strong plus

Work occasional overtime as required
Associates degree preferred, 1-2 years association or database experience strongly preferred.
