The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) seeks a highly motivated, well-organized self-starter for the position of Education Program Manager. The Education Program Manager facilitates the delivery of AUGS’ educational programming, including live courses, virtual meetings and enduring educational activities. This position reports to the Senior Director of Education and Meetings and will play a key role in managing and delivering a growing Education portfolio.
Serve as Education committee liaison and staff lead for development and execution of the educational programming for meetings and hands-on courses.
Work with the planning committee to finalize educational content, faculty, learning objectives and program descriptions.
Coordinate all faculty and moderator invitations and confirmations, serving as primary point of contact.
Oversee the CME application process from the start of the program through providing attendees their CME credits. Ensure proper documentation, compliance with ACCME guidelines, review of slides, and issuance of attendee CME credits.
Work with the marketing department by providing educational content and providing a timely review of all deliverables (emails, brochures, programs, and attendee e-books).
Provide on-site faculty/speaker support.
Manage the meeting evaluation process from development of the evaluation to review of evaluation outcomes to determine opportunities for improvement.
Manage AUGS’ eLearning platform and online programs
Manage the relationship with the LMS vendor and ensure the AUGS LMS is utilizing best practices and continuing to provide value to the members.
Develop a strategy for digital products and content delivery that advances and strengthens AUGS’ eLearning platform and member experience.
Serve as the staff lead for developing and executing the educational programming for AUGS’ Webinar Series and FPMRS Fellow Lecture Series.
Support the self-assessment exam program to ensure quality questions are being developed and implemented into an annual exam for fellows and physicians.
Volunteer Leadership Management/Support
Build strong relationships with AUGS staff, volunteers, key opinion and thought leaders, to leverage their expertise on content within educational programs, as well as ensuring program objectives are clearly understood and executed.
Serve as the staff liaison to Committees that include overall committee management, scheduling meetings, developing, and distributing meeting materials, participating in committee meetings, and documenting minutes and action items.
Minimum of five years’ experience in supporting the development of educational programming (live and online); specifically, for scientific, medical, or health care professional societies.
ACCME experience and/or knowledge preferred.
Strong communication, writing, proof-reading, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a changing environment, manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and competing requests.
Strong technical aptitude, including a high-level of comfort and familiarity with Web-based technologies in general and, ideally, with specific online education technologies (e.g., virtual meeting platforms, learning management systems)
Command of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
