Position Purpose: This position is responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by managing projects associated to and in the Technology Operations and Digital Solutions department; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. The Technology Project Manager will also plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
What You'll Do:
Accomplishes information technology staff results by job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and escalating risks and concerns appropriately; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Managing resources by selecting, orienting, and training; maintaining technology standards and processes; developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. communicating
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assisting with preparation of annual budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Manage numerous projects at any one time.
Assist in the development of plan presentations, incorporating use of graphic and written materials.
Works proactively to anticipate issues and solve problems
Keeps team members informed via meeting recaps, emails, etc.
Works with the IT department to ensure that projects are running efficiently.
Who You Are:
College degree and/or equivalent work-related experience preferred. Must be able to multitask, be a great communicator, enjoy and understand creative collaboration, have a great command of detail and follow-up and be able to express their point of view persuasively – both in person and in writing. Will work in close collaboration with others on the team as well as those within the association. Must understand the digital space, including technology, strategic planning, problem solving, analyzing information, quality management, and over all user experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, attitude, professional appearance and demeanor are necessary. Must be willing to travel and work overtime if necessary; have the ability to endure long hours of sitting, standing and/or walking; lifting and carrying of boxes of meeting materials within weight limits to be defined.
