Diversified Consultants, Inc. (DCI) is a full-service association management company looking for a full time Association Coordinator to support multiple national associations. DCI is a small female owned business, founded in 1982, representing a diverse mix of recognizable national and international associations. POSITION OVERVIEW: ASSOCIATION COORDINATOR
The position would be an association support role with a variety of administrative functions including the following:
- Membership data entry and dues processing
- Drafting and disseminating member communications
- Membership Reporting
- Board meeting coordination
- Assisting with budget preparation and quarterly financial reconciliations.
- Association website management
- Solicitation, management, invoicing for association advertisers, supplier memberships and sponsors
- Conference registration management utilizing online registration platform, include site development, reporting, payment processing.
- Solicit vendor participation and manage vendor tradeshow held in conjunction with annual conferences
- Conference planning support and on-site registration desk management
- Participating on association board and committee calls, recording minutes and action steps.
- Acting as liaison with the webmaster on association website and developing conference app.
ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS
This position will require comprehensive administrative skills including:
- Respond to email communications and voicemails timely.
- Identify priorities and implement time management skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency/aptitude in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Other database applications include Aventri registration software and Constant Contact email templates.
- Participate on numerous conference calls and record minutes and follow up on action items.
- Adapt to different client environments and management styles.
- Desire strong work ethic, resourcefulness and ability to take initiative to manage projects.
Once the position is filled, training will be provided as needed through the onboarding process.
The position, most days, is 8:30am-5pm working at a desk communicating with fellow team members and with association members, partners and other vendors. Team members are able to work 3 days in the office and 2 days, including every Friday, at home. There is some travel involved.
