Position Summary: NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is seeking a Director of Federal Affairs to be responsible for policy development and advocacy before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. Working with the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs, the Director of Federal affairs will develop and strengthen critical relationships with elected Senate and House members and their staff, work with NAIOP’s public policy committees to identify issues of importance to commercial real estate, and represent NAIOP’s federal affairs team at local NAIOP chapter events, coalition meetings, and with other stakeholders.
