This position reports to Vice President, Learning to manage the scope of work and development for various programs for ASAE Learning. You are an education or program development professional with strong project management and logistical skills and
Responsible for planning and managing development processes for ASAE learning programs. Work with other ASAE staff teams and departments to coordinate program, meeting, and event logistics as appropriate. When assigned (in person or online), manage logistics, content and all functions related to the programs and events.

Work collaboratively with the Vice President, Learning and Director, Learning Experiences in the creation and implementation of programs
Act as Learning liaison for CEO Symposium and Exceptional Boards programming
Work with presenters and subject matter experts to develop handouts and supplemental materials around defined learning outcomes
Manage program development for assigned new programs
Manage the development and distribution of necessary meeting materials
Manage the implementation of educational activity evaluations and other outcomes measurement requirements and assist in the collection and reporting of educational outcomes data to applicable teams
Interface with appropriate ASAE councils and committees in the development and implementation of programs in area of responsibility
Manage the implementation of necessary and applicable technologies associated with project management of programs in area of responsibility
Interface with the Meetings Department for logistical and registration needs
Essential Skills
Strong logistics, project management, and technical and organizational skills are essential.
Instructional design and/or program management skills.
Advanced computer skills are essential including proficiency in MS word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, association database management software. Flexible to learn new programs.
Knowledge of ASAE’s software and/or willingness to learn each system. Those include: Aptify, ASAE’s membership database, eshow (ASAE’s registration, expo floor and speaker management), Solver (budget management), and experience mapping systems.
Familiarity with learning management systems is beneficial.
Project and budget management
The ability to serve as lead project manager for an overall program or event.
Ability to approach challenges in a solutions-oriented manner.
Works well under pressure and maintains professional relationships with colleagues.
Strong customer service orientation
Desire and passion to learn and understand how the association, hospitality and travel industries operate.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel Position may require up to 5-10% of business travel annually to attend meetings and events as directed by the supervisor.
Required Education and Experience Associates degree and or Bachelor’s degree required. Directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Other Requirements:
Previous association management experience highly desirable.
Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), customer service skills a must.
Strong project management skills, strategic thinker with the ability to oversee multiple simultaneous projects and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Solid organizational skills and analytical ability with special attention to detail, follow-up and accuracy.
