Position Purpose: To provide the customer service support necessary to execute the AACE Community strategy and mission.
Who You Are
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in membership/community engagement (non-profit trade association experience) in a customer service environment. Experience with Nimble/Salesforce (or other association management system) strongly preferred. Must possess strong initiative, exceptional customer service, results-oriented, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication. Requires intermediate to expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and technology applications. Must be able to work successfully within a matrix team environment, independently on primary tasks, and share accountability/reward for achieving broader goals. Occasional travel may be required.
What You’ll Do
Serves as primary and initial contact for customer service-related calls and emails, fielding questions, issues, etc. for all AACE departments.
Support other AACE teams with phone and email inquiries and troubleshoot event and program registration issues (i.e., updating member accounts to reflect the correct status, working with AACE staff to ensure payments are applied properly).
Responsible for data quality, ensuring contact information and critical data points are kept up-to-date, and assisting with processing engagement fee and renewal payments
Process and review membership applications, which includes verifying the information submitted and deploying the initial welcome message through Nimble.
Email preparation outside of daily customer service to include monthly follow-up messages to fellows/residents with pending applications to submit their supporting documentation.
Assist in the execution of membership campaigns based on findings of market research, process analyses, and/or other measurements.
Assist in the management of data integrity activities to ensure data is current and accurate.
Other duties as required.
