The Global Business Alliance (GBA) is seeking an organized and detailed-oriented Membership Associate to support the daily operations of our Membership team. The right candidate will have a strong customer-service approach and be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task and complete their work in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Vice President of Membership, the Membership Associate will be responsible for a variety of projects including the following:
Manage and update the membership database, (new members, prospective members, renewals, changes to member records) ensuring that the information is accurate and current
Monitor and generate reports on key metrics related to membership growth, retention and engagement
Manage GBA’s annual membership renewal cycle and monitor membership payments, including executing payment portals
Lead onboarding process for new GBA members, overseeing lobbying compliance questionnaire, payment process, and engagement
Lead prospective-member research and oversee trial membership programs
Execute email campaigns and surveys soliciting data and membership requests
Consistently demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness in all written and verbal communications internally and with external stakeholders
Support meeting and event logistics as needed
Complete additional duties as may be assigned to support the work of the Membership, Advocacy and Senior Leadership Team

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least one year of experience in membership services, business development or marketing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong association CRM/AMS database experience required, such as Salesforce; experience with email marketing platforms such as My Emma preferred, but not a requirement
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite: Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills; solution oriented, proactive and highly responsive
Ability to self-direct and multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and move seamlessly between a variety of projects
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a hybrid work environment (subject to change)
